NEW DIMENSIONS SCHOLARSHIPS
Through education on business intelligence, the ‘New Dimensions’ scholarship programme provides employability opportunities for young women-at-risk. Our first cohort of students (2022-2023) received funding from the United States Embassy and Consulate in Ecuador and US-based education company DataCamp.

EL QUANTIFICADOR SCHOLARSHIPS
Our Quantificador Scholarships promote data literacy in low-income post-secondary students. These scholarships are funded thanks to an agreement reached between Laboratorio LIDE and US-based education company DataCamp. Each year, the program benefits 20-25 young students throughout the country which receive free DataCamp subscriptions as well as employability and data analysis workshops from Laboratorio LIDE.

INTERNSHIPS
The Lab offers pre-professional internship opportunities to students of economics, political science, statistics, and related fields. Interns learn to collect, clean, and analyze data to create their own articles for the blog El Quantificador. Some of them also assist in the development of academic articles and become co-authors of these studies.
