Experience

Marco Faytong-Haro’s work focuses on health, social epidemiology, inequality, gender, time use, and development. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology and Demography at Penn State University, where he conducts research in these areas. He also holds a master’s degree in applied quantitative research for social sciences from New York University and an undergraduate degree in Economics from UEES. Currently, he is a senior researcher at Respiralab Research Center and an affiliated researcher at UEES.

Marco teaches at the university level at both UEES and Penn State, where he shares his interest in social sciences and health research. He encourages students to work with real-world data and helps them apply quantitative analysis techniques to practical problems. His teaching emphasizes the relevance of data in understanding and addressing social issues.
