Guayaquil, November 30, 2024 — The Ecuadorian Development Research Lab (LIDE), in collaboration with DataCamp, has launched the rolling admissions call for the El Quantificador Scholarships program. This initiative will award 20 premium DataCamp accounts—10 for men and 10 for women—from anywhere in Ecuador. Applications are open year-round and can be submitted at any time via this link.

What is DataCamp?

DataCamp is a gamified, industry-leading online learning platform offering specialized courses in data analysis tools and languages such as R, Python, SQL, and Power BI. Its fully asynchronous format allows users to learn at their own pace from anywhere.

Eligibility Profile

• University students from any field and academic level in Ecuador
• Low-income employed or underemployed individuals
• No restrictions on field of study
• Commitment to studying weekly on the platform

Scholarship Information

The first accounts were activated on November 5, 2024. Once the scholarship period ends, premium access will be deactivated, but the account will remain active with all progress and certificates preserved. Beneficiaries are expected to use the platform consistently.
