LIDE Opens Enrollment for the 2026 New Dimensions Bootcamp with Partial and Full Scholarships

Guayaquil, July 14, 2026. The Laboratorio de Investigación para el Desarrollo del Ecuador (LIDE) has opened enrollment for a new edition of the New Dimensions Bootcamp, a virtual program designed to strengthen employability through applied training in data analysis, business intelligence, automation, and digital tools.

New Dimensions began in 2023 as a LIDE initiative with support from the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Ecuador and DataCamp. Its first edition trained 55 women from vulnerable backgrounds over ten months. Several graduates went on to secure positions at companies and institutions in strategic sectors, while others continued their education through postgraduate scholarships abroad.

In 2026, New Dimensions is evolving and expanding its reach. The new edition is open to people from all professional backgrounds who want to develop practical skills for working with data, automating processes, building reports, and making better decisions.

What does the New Dimensions Bootcamp include?

The program will be delivered entirely online, combining live classes with instructors, practical DataCamp training, and projects based on situations from the Ecuadorian workplace.

The Bootcamp includes five components:

  • Excel and Google Sheets: data analysis and organization, pivot tables, dashboards, and reports.
  • Automation and AI integrations: Power Query, data cleaning and transformation, documentation, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence tools.
  • Power BI: data modeling, metric development, and dashboard design for decision-making.
  • SQL: queries, filters, aggregations, joins, and database analysis.
  • Employability and professional skills: résumé review, interview preparation, professional communication, and job-search guidance.

Participants will develop individual and group projects that they can add to their professional portfolios. They will also receive free access to DataCamp during the program through the strategic partnership between LIDE and this international data education platform.

The Bootcamp will run from August 24 through December 4, 2026.

Tuition and enrollment options

Tuition for the complete Bootcamp is $460, including VAT. Participants may also enroll in individual courses according to their interests and needs.

LIDE offers discounts for early payment, former scholarship recipients, students continuing into a second training program, and participants joining through the referral program. Eligible discounts may be combined up to a maximum of 20%.

Review all tuition rates, discounts, and payment methods on the New Dimensions pricing page.

Partial and full scholarships

As part of LIDE’s commitment to expanding access to educational opportunities, this edition offers three scholarship options:

  • 25% partial scholarship.
  • 50% partial scholarship.
  • 100% full scholarship.

Scholarships apply to the full cost of the Bootcamp and will be awarded based on merit and financial need. The scholarship application is separate from paid enrollment and may include additional assessments or interviews.

Scholarship applications will remain open through August 19, 2026. Because the form requests detailed information about each applicant’s academic, professional, and socioeconomic background, we recommend starting the application early.
